I am Irish and have lived in France for 25 years. I am the happy Mum of Max my gorgeous little boy who fills me with joy each and every day.
I grew up in the Irish countryside surrounded by horses in a family for whom sport was and still is a driving force in everything. Having practiced sports since my earliest years (horseriding, swimming, water skiing, running, hockey, tennis ...), this passion has remained with me all my life.
After studying business and marketing I spent two decades working in the fashion business in Paris.
Passionate about personal development, bio hacking and well being. I have taken training courses in positive psychology, sports coaching and mental leadership.
As a sportsperson, foodie, mother and busy professional, I decided to set up Happy Sport & Detox, to create the type of sports and detox retreat of my dreams - one that combines sport, a balanced, tasty and generous diet (because I simply HATE diets!), fun, leadership and mental coaching sessions.
I looked everywhere but never managed to find this dream retreat.. .So I created Happy Sport & Detox myself.
I recently launched a boutique PR & Communications company, specialized in the field of wellness, lifestyle, sport, beauty and travel. After over 25 years spent in the PR & Communications industry, with Carra Sutherland PR I help companies, individuals and organisations to emerge within the vast sea of competitors. With a dedicated and hands on approach, along with my in depth knowledge of the health and beauty sphere and a vast network of opinion leaders and journalists, I propose a personalized and tailored approach in PR & Communications.
Happy Sport & Detox is more than just a health retreat business, it is a 360° lifestyle adventure.
We strive to spread the word of wellness via our retreats, our PR & Communications company as well as with targeted partnerships such as Elastique Athletics, "Self Care you can Wear", a pioneer in the healthsphere.
