an over the counter medicine and the best way to combat the stressful
situations that we all live in todays fast changing world. Juggling with a career, kids, multitasking,
lack of sleep, long commutes….. we have so many reasons to be stressed!
Sport is the best way to combat this! When our body is under stress, it produces adrenalin. This pushes up our blood pressure and heart rate. Sport helps to counteract this by producing »happy hormones ». It acts like a tranquilizer without the side effects. The bonus is that this antidepressant effect lasts in the longer term.
On a Happy Sport & Detox retreat you will be taking part in a multitude of activities daily ranging from yoga, pilates, cardio training, hiking, running, stretching, strength training…… Our activities are suitable for everyone, whatever your fitness level. Participants will be placed into groups which suit their ability and everyone can move at their own pace.
Last but not least, you will learn how to have a positive mindset.

7H45 Kick start the day with a hot lemon & ginger beverage to hydrate, eliminate toxins and get the metabolism going
8H – Vinyasa Yoga class– Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that tones & energizes the whole body
OR /
Hatha Yoga class - The most popular yoga in Europe. Through a series of asanas (postures) the body has a thorough workout
9H – Breakfast
9H45 – Depart from the chalet for a 3H mountain hike with a qualified mountain guide
OR /
Depart from the chalet for a « Peace Walk » - meditative walk which helps to root oneself and to live in the « now ».
13H – Lunch in the chalet
14h – 17H – Free time to have a massage, use the spa, have a nap etc….
17H – Nidra yoga class - Yoga Nidra is the "yoga of sleep" - it participates in physical, mental and emotional well-being.
19H - Dinner
20H – Themed discussion/conference with a therapist ex. Introduction to Ayurveda or Guided Evening Meditation or The law of attraction….
Guests have free and unlimited access to a selection of infusions & healthy snacks during the day as well as the possibility to use the spa area which includes a sauna -, Jacuzzi and a selection of massages, facial treatments and other alternative therapies including Reiki, Shiatsu, reflexology…..
